The TP-Link EAP653 is an AX3000 dual-band WiFi 6 ceiling mount access point designed for high-performance business and commercial wireless networks. It delivers up to 2976 Mbps combined WiFi speeds, with up to 2402 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and 574 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band.
Built for demanding environments, the EAP653 combines WiFi 6 technologies including OFDMA, MU-MIMO, 1024-QAM and HE160 with centralized Omada management, Omada Mesh and seamless roaming. Its compact ceiling and wall-mountable design makes it suitable for offices, hospitality, education, retail and other commercial deployments.

The EAP653 delivers next-generation wireless performance with dual-band AX3000 WiFi 6 technology. With up to 2402 Mbps on 5 GHz and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, it provides the bandwidth needed for business applications, video conferencing, streaming, cloud services and high-density wireless environments.
Optimized for Multiple Connected Devices
WiFi 6 technologies such as OFDMA, MU-MIMO, 1024-QAM and HE160 help improve efficiency, capacity and throughput when many devices are connected. Band steering, load balancing, airtime fairness and beamforming further help optimize wireless performance.
Centralized Omada Network Management
The EAP653 integrates with the TP-Link Omada SDN platform for centralized network management. Compatible management options include Omada hardware controllers, software controllers and the cloud-based controller. Administrators can manage networks through a web interface or the Omada app, with features such as multi-site management, management VLANs, SNMP and zero-touch provisioning.
Flexible Business Deployment
The compact EAP653 supports ceiling, wall and junction box mounting. It can be powered using 802.3at PoE+ or a compatible 12V DC power source, providing flexibility when deploying access points throughout an office or commercial environment.
Enhanced Wireless Security
Business network security features include WPA-Personal and Enterprise, WPA2-Personal and Enterprise, WPA3-Personal and Enterprise, captive portal authentication, access control, MAC filtering, wireless client isolation, SSID-to-VLAN mapping, rogue AP detection and 802.1X support.
