24-Port Gigabit PoE+ Connectivity

The SG2428P provides 24 Gigabit PoE+ RJ45 ports supporting IEEE 802.3af/at standards. Each PoE+ port can deliver up to 30 W, with a total available PoE budget of up to 250 W under the specified conditions. This makes the switch suitable for powering compatible wireless access points, IP cameras, VoIP phones, and other PoE-enabled network devices.

Four Gigabit SFP Uplink Slots

Four dedicated Gigabit SFP slots provide flexible fiber connectivity for network uplinks and longer-distance connections. The combination of Gigabit RJ45 ports and SFP slots allows the SG2428P to serve as a versatile access switch in business network deployments.

Layer 2 and Layer 2+ Network Features

The SG2428P supports a broad range of network management features, including 802.1Q VLAN, MAC VLAN, Protocol VLAN, Voice VLAN, ACL, QoS, link aggregation, spanning tree, DHCP server and relay, static routing, IGMP Snooping, and multicast management.

Static Routing for Efficient Traffic Management

Built-in static routing supports IPv4 and IPv6 routes, helping route internal network traffic efficiently without requiring all traffic to pass through an external router. The switch supports up to 32 IPv4/IPv6 static routes.

Advanced Security and Access Control

The SG2428P provides business-focused security features including 802.1X authentication, RADIUS support, IP-MAC-Port Binding, DHCP Snooping, ARP Inspection, IP Source Guard, DoS Defense, port security, storm control, and port isolation. Secure HTTPS and SSH management are also supported.

Centralized Omada Management

When used with a compatible Omada SDN controller, the SG2428P can be centrally managed alongside compatible Omada access points, switches, and gateways. Administrators can use centralized configuration, monitoring, batch firmware upgrades, abnormal event warnings, and other management functions.

Flexible Standalone or Cloud Management

The SG2428P supports standalone management through a web-based interface, CLI, SNMP, and RMON. When connected to compatible Omada management platforms, additional centralized management and cloud access capabilities become available.
